Kitchen Fitter

About the role

We are looking for experienced Kitchen Fitters to carry out full kitchen replacements, mainly in occupied homes for housing providers, as part of our planned works programme. You will take each kitchen from strip out to a finished, clean handover, working alongside our plumbers, electricians and multi trade operatives. Most work is in occupied homes and client buildings, so you will deal directly with customers, tenants, housing association staff, care home teams and school facilities staff, and represent APBS professionally on every job.

What you will do

• Strip out existing kitchens and prepare walls and floors
• Install base and wall units, worktops, plinths, end panels and handles
• Fit sinks, taps and appliances, and make good around new units
• Wall tiling and flooring as part of the kitchen package
• Work alongside our plumbers and electricians to programme
• Leave the home clean, tidy and ready to use at the end of each day

What you need

• Proven experience fitting kitchens, ideally in social housing or planned works
• Able to work to a specification and a programme
• Good customer service when working in occupied properties
• Own hand and power tools
• Full UK driving licence
